1. Introduction

Welcome to MagenLegal. MagenLegal is a non-profit social project designed to help repatriates navigate the Israeli legal system. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please stop using the Service immediately.

2. Service Description

MagenLegal provides free access to AI-powered tools to simplify legal and bureaucratic issues:

  1. AI Assistant: Chatbot for answers on Israeli law and regulations.
  2. Document Analyzer: Tool for automatic analysis, risk assessment, recommendations, and verbatim translation of your document.
  3. Knowledge Base: Library of guides and document templates.

ATTENTION: The Service is provided "AS IS". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

3. AI Disclaimer

MagenLegal is an informational assistant, not a substitute for a professional lawyer.

  1. No Legal Advice: The information provided by the Service (including AI Assistant answers, Analyzer reports, and Guide content) is for reference purposes only. We do not provide legal services or advice.
  2. Error Minimization: We use a verified database of laws to generate answers to minimize errors. However, Artificial Intelligence (LLM) technologies may generate inaccuracies.
  3. User Responsibility: You are required to independently verify any information received from the Service before making legally significant decisions. We strongly recommend consulting qualified lawyers.
  4. No Warranties: We do not guarantee the accuracy, relevance, or completeness of the provided information.

4. Non-Commercial Use & Donations

  1. Free Access: All service functions are provided free of charge.
  2. Donations: You may voluntarily support the project via the "Support" page.
    • Donations are considered Gifts and are not payment for a service.
    • Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
    • We do not sell digital products or services.
  3. Commercial Prohibition: It is prohibited to use the Service's results (Analyzer reports) for commercial resale of legal services to third parties.

5. Privacy & Data

  1. Anonymity: We minimize data collection. Login is passwordless (Email OTP).
  2. Quality Improvement: We may use anonymized chat logs to fine-tune our AI models to improve answer quality. We never share or sell your data to third parties.
  3. Data Deletion: You can delete your chat and document history in your Personal Account at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. Service Rights: Design, code, logos, guide texts, and templates are the intellectual property of MagenLegal.
  2. User Content: You retain rights to the documents you upload for analysis. We use them only to provide the service (analysis) and do not publish them.
  3. Generated Results: You are granted the right to use reports and answers generated by the Service for your personal needs.
  4. Third-Party Content: Informational materials used by the AI Assistant are partially based on open data from Kol Zchut (license CC-BY-NC-SA 2.5 IL), as well as official legislation from the Knesset database and official ministry directives published on the government portal Gov.il. MagenLegal is not affiliated with Kol Zchut.

7. Prohibited Use

When using the Service, it is prohibited to:

  1. Upload documents containing malware, viruses, or illegal content.
  2. Use the Service for any unlawful purposes or to violate laws in your jurisdiction.
  3. Attempt to hack, decompile, or disrupt the Service's algorithms.
  4. Use automated scripts (bots) to scrape data from the site without our permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MagenLegal and its affiliates are not liable for:

  1. Any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages (including lost profits).
  2. Damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
  3. Consequences of decisions made by you based on AI information.

9. Changes to Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. The new version becomes effective upon posting on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new revision.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  1. Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
  2. Jurisdiction: All disputes arising regarding this Agreement are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
